Do you need fingerprints for Aya, other travel agencies?

Does anyone know if you need fingerprints for the background check for Aya? What have your experiences been for other travel agencies as well? I am planning only to work in my licensed states or other compact states. Not interested in obtaining licenses in non-compact states.
