was wondering how many of the apns (nps and cns's) moonlight at a second job? i am in chronic hemodialysis care after 10 years rn experience in the er. i want to keep my certs current and i have the chance to do some moonlighting at a one of those cash-only walk-in clinics. i am going to talk with the owner of the company on tuesday. in the area where i live, mid-level provider positions are very scarce. i have only been with this practice since july and i don't want to leave but need some variety. i'm kinda thinking only 1-2 days a month. anyone got any advice? thanks much.

i'm working in urgent care and there are several people who work there who have regular jobs. one of our pa's working 2 weekends per month (12 hr shifts) to keep his skills up, because he works strictly ortho during the week.
Thanks Brandy.

I don't, but I'm looking to. Especially if administration doesn't agree with my new compensation plan (which makes total sense and is totally fair, so they probably won't).
Good luck cgfnp.
