Do LPN's have this option?

I got accepted into LPN school for this fall and I was wondering would they give LPN's the option to finish out as an RN in the middle? I know that all of the LPN and RN students are together for the first 1-2 semesters and then the RN's branch off.....when they branch off would they give us that option to take that route?

Ask them. My school didn't have us together at all so when I wanted to get my RN I had to apply to a bridge program and find a RN class that had room for me. Good luck!

It depends on your school but you might be able to start RN prequisites like college alg, english, psychology, etc part time.. So if you are in PN school from 8-230, you could take maybe a pre req in the afternoon or at night. It all depends on how much you can handle. Focus more on what you're doing right now and keep your grades high. LPN-RN programs are about 2 years in length.

I have already done all my prereqs for RN except for 2 of them. My LPN is 3 semesters and RN is 5 semesters. The LPN-RN mobility program is 3 semesters.
