Do I qualify for eb-3 visa ? I am a Registered nurse from Australia with 6+ working exprience.

Hi, I am very confused about if I qualify for eb-3 visa. I finished Bachelor of Nursing degree in Australia and worked 6+ years. I need finish 3 missed courses (paediatric, maternal-child and nutrition) and then get permission from TEXAS BON to take NCLEX test. When I search for schools in Texas, I found I can do those courses with an Associated degree.

After I checked USCIS.gov, I am very confused if I am eligible for eb-3 as it stated under eb3 - (professional worker) :

"You must be able to demonstrate that you possess a U.S. baccalaureate degree or foreign degree equivalent, and that a baccalaureate degree is the normal requirement for entry into the occupation"

But most RN jobs offered in the states only require an Associate degree, even I have Bachelor degree in Australia.

So does it mean I am not eligible for eb-3 ? I do not have BSN and I don't really want to do it as it cost too much.

And if RN falls under 'schedule a list, does it mean I am still eligible? or eligible under EB-3 - Skilled worker)

Anyone who have experienced something similar recently (2017-2018), could you please share your thoughts?

Thank you so much for your time and looking forward to hearing from you!

If planning on doing the courses in the US you will need a F1 visa (Student) EB3 is employer based so a lot will depend on your employer on requirements and whether they are willing to sponsor you. I initially before moving to Canada had a EB3 application in progress and I was not a BSN but I am going back several years
