I graduated in May and have a fairly cheap stethoscope. I want to get a better one and I know everyone raves about the Littman CIII. I am not a cardiac nurse. I work in a rehab facility and wondering if one of the "II" series would suffice. I take good care of my stuff; I have had my stethoscope since my CNA courses. (almost 4 years) Is the extra 50 or so dollars worth it for me?
It is a nice scope, and you can hear really well with it, but if that doesn't bother you then I would go with the II. that is also a nice scope. I have it and have had no problems at all!
