Do I have a fighting chance?

Published

Hi everyone, :)

I am presently doing pre-nursing at CPCC, and have been worried about my grades. Life's hectic (violins play in the back), and my grades sometimes suffer. :imbar

These are my grades sofar:

English 111- C ( i know, this is sooo sad)

English 112- B

Psy 150- B

Psy 241- A

Math 161- C :imbar

Math 155- A

CIS 110- C:imbar

CIS 111- C:imbar :imbar

A&P1- B

A&P2- A

Microbiology (175)- B

Microbiology (275)- not there yet

Communications (Public Speaking) - B

Chemistry 151 (Chem 1)- B

Chemistry 152 (Chem 2)- not yet

I still have to take a foreign language, so I guess I'll just take Spanish.

Myth in Human Culture (Humanities)- B

SOC 230 - A

SOC 210- A

60 hours volunteering in the ER

CNA certified

My choice of schools:

1. CPCC's nursing program

2. Just enter straight into UNC's nursing program

3. Mercy

4. CCHS

5. Cararrus College

I am still planning to take Bio 155 (nutrition), Chem 151 (Chem 2), Micro 275, Spanish 1, Spanish 2.

Do you guys think I have a chance? (My C's are scaring me) Maybe I'm just realllllly paranoid. :uhoh21:

Also, if anyone can suggest other schools in North Carolina, which are worth looking into? I would so appreciate it. I'm going to apply everywhere!!

Thanks! :)

Hi, I've been accepted at Queens in the ASN program? Do you like it? What is the passing rate? Any feedback would be nice. Thanks, Zazou.
