I'm curious if there is a difference in privileges that will be granted to DNP vs what the MS FNP currently has? Does anyone know?

Not that I'm aware of.

None that I could imagine. The NPs in the PICU here are already doing all CVLs, intubations, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, etc.

And the DNP is just a suggestion....kinda like "all nurses should have a BSN for entry into nursing."

Doubt we will see the mandatory DNP....
