Can I make a living or will I be drowning in debt?

What is a good southern california DNP FNP program?

What can I do with that degree?

Whether you are make a living or not depends on skill and luck. Planning ahead (i.e where you plan to practice when you graduate) helps.

Define what you mean by "good" (for instance, finding preceptors, the graduation rate, the pass rate on national exams, etc.) To broaden your choices, consider online programs that allows you to do clinical rotations in your state.

Personally, I am going for the FNP-MSN and stopping there. For me, there is no point (i.e. financial gain) to doing the DNP. If you have a reason to pursue the DNP as oppose to the MSN, as in, you cannot achieve a particular goal without the DNP, then, by all means.
