I recently dislocated my shoulder (anterior) in a ski accident, also worth noting being my dominant right arm. I know that I have an associated Hill-Sachs fracture/deformity on x-ray and am awaiting my orthopedic surgery consult this upcoming Tuesday.
My question is who has experienced this type of dislocation? Were you able to return to work with a weight restriction and PT? Or did you require surgery? I work in a pediatric CVICU so patients can be as small as 2-3kg.
Appreciate any advice whether personal experience or someone close to you.
