Discourage and need some encouragement

Ok so I'm so bummed out. I am taking Chemistry and Anatomy and Physiology, I study almost every night i just can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I took my first Practical i got a 77, my first chemistry exam i got a 74 and my first anatomy and physiology exam i got a 73.5. Like seriously what am i doing wrong I'm studying all the time but maybe I'm not grasping the concepts correctly. Like anyone have any tips on what i can do. I study the figures, i use note cards, study my notes from class, and i read the book. I'm apparently missing something. I really need A's in this class or really high B"s i still have 2 test left in each class because were on a quarter system. Can i really get that A or that High B? I pray i can.

I have rambled enough but i had to get off my chest and suggestions on what i can do , i would really appreciate it.

don't worry so much about what you need to end up with. in doing so, you will only stress yourself out further.

i would encourage you to consult your instructors and see what they have to say. have them look at your current standing and see if they can suggest some study groups/aids that may be able to help you.

don't beat yourself up. chemistry isn't easy, and a&p has an annoying amount of material. just do the best you can.

I second the encouragement to ask your instructors what they think. I did that in my Micro class and he ended up giving me additional points purely for coming to talk to him about what I was doing wrong. I didn't end up with an A because I bombed the first test, but by the end of the semester he said I was competitive with his A students and offered to write me a letter of recommendation.

I agree with the above post about talking to your instructors about getting some help to clarify the materials. One thing that really helped me through those classes was making a study group with some other students. People learn diffrent ways and teach diffrent ways. Sometimes other students have ideas that you have not thought about and new ways to help you remember the material. Another thing that I do to help remember lists of materials is acronyms, if you can make a funny one out of the material all the better. Try to stay positve. Good luck;)
