Direct Entry Financial Aid

Hi folks,

For those of you applying to Direct Entry programs, have you all already submitted your FAFSA and the appropriate school forms to each of the schools? I was originally waiting for acceptance notifications but realized the deadlines are much sooner than some of the schools' notification dates. Needless to say, I'm a little late on a couple of schools forms, even though my FAFSA has been filed already. I think one deadline was Feb 15, but I hadn't even received my W-2 information from my employer at that time. Eeks. :-\ I hope there's some money left! lol

i did the same thing you did... realized I missed the 15th but Simmons deadline for their application is tomorrow so I got it in Friday... I asked the financial aid person why they want it before the acceptance letters go out and I guess its a long process getting to get the students to get their stuff in...

I'm kind of hoping they go by postmark date, because I couldn't get it done before the post office closed yesterday. ::sigh:: I feel like I'm always behind...

I know what you mean. I walked it into the office 5pm Friday because I didnt think it would get there before then. Im sure you will be fine though. I thought I was behind (and rather frantic when I ran into the office waiving the application) and the woman there didnt seem to think I was..
