Your instructors in school should have been discussing this topic all along as part of your practical education. It has long been very difficult for anyone, much less a new graduate, to find work in the general San Francisco area. As long as San Francisco remains a desirable area, this will probably remain the employment situation.

I will be graduating from a BSN program at San Francisco state university. I will be a new grad seeking employment and I have heard it's difficult to do so in SF due to the hiring freezes at many hospitals here. I am seeking an updated(2017/2018) opinion on how difficult it is to work in SF as a new grad and what a new grad salary would look like in SF or surrounding areas. Also if anyone has tips for being hired as a new grad with no experience that would be great! Thanks!
