Difficult to get student loan nowadays?

As a permanent resident of US, can I apply different kinds of student loans to pay for my accerelated BSN tuition? Some one said it's a little hard to get loan due to bad economy this or next year. Is that really true? I don't have enough deposits. I do rely on student loans to pay my tuition!

The economy has definitely been effecting the student loan industry. I will need private loans for my program and am very nervous about getting them.

Did you apply for federal student loan?

I haven't filled out the FAFSA yet, but I know I will get federal loans. The problem is that they won't be enough to cover the program, so I'm still looking at private loans.
