different testing sites-NCLEX RN level of difficulty?

Updated:   Published

I am taking the NCLEX RN on Tuesday, May 22 and I am getting nervous. My question may sound silly to some of you, but I have heard this many times over from people who have taken then NCLEX RN and NCLEX pn: some people who took their boards in a certain location say how hard the test was, the others who took the test in a different city say they couldn't believe how easy the test was. The people who took the "easy" test have all passed, but some of the people with the "hard" test failed. This just does not make much sense to me.....of course I am taking the test where it is supposed to be the most difficult! It just seems like this can't be all coincidental....Has anyone ever heard this? I need some help here!

GOOD LUCK LET ME KNOW HOW YOU DID AND WHAT IT WAS LIKE XX

I got my results today and I passed!! My QuickResults were not even available, so I checked the BNE website, and there it was....my name! I am so relieved, that was the worst and longest 2 days of my life! It cut off at 75 questions and I felt like I passed it when I left, but then I got home and started looking up some answers and I got some wrong, so then I started to worry. But, I'm not worried anymore.....I am an official RN!

aem 2007, congratulations and enjoy it.

Where are the easy sites in Texas located? I live in the Galveston area, but will go anywhere. Will be taking NCLEX soon. Thanks

Has anyone heard of ATI ? It is simular to Kaplan. Our school pushed it but I have not heard of others using it.

We were required by our school to take the ATI test after each clinical class. They were ok. They get you in the mode of answering questions NCLEX style and some of the schools make it mandatory to pass these to pass the class. I think it improves their NCLEX pass rate. There are statistics that show if you can pass the ATI, then you are more apt to pass the NCLEX.
