different routes to take?

Published

Hi everybody. I am a current sophomore in my fall semester at Palomar College. I will be done with all of my prerquisites in the spring of 2020. What I didn’t know is that to take the TEAS exam I should have at least taken Anatomy, Physiology and Microbiology. I am currently taking Anatomy and will be taking Phys and Micro next semester. The only time I can apply to CSUSM’s nursing program is this fall, but I don’t want to take the TEAS yet because I am not ready. So that means I cannot apply. Should I then apply to ADN programs or wait till next fall to apply? That’ll just make this whole process longer, and I really want to be done as soon as possible. It seems every single California program is impacted and at this point I just don’t know what to do. I know I can apply to some other school for Spring semesters, but any advice is appreciated.

Listen the TEAS is a comprehensive test. If you did very well in math, reading, and writing thus far - youll be okay. If you are good with anatomy, youll be ok..... Dont wait to take the TEAS. People build it up to be more than what it is.... Its not super hard. Look up some sample TEAS tests and take a look at the kind of content it has.
