Different instrument - same tune

Took NCLEX today! Got cut off at 75. I was not confident at all, I received a lot of pharm and prioritize questions. Did not study pharm well enough. I am a good student and test taker, but I can't help but doubt myself right now. I have a lot riding on this test... I am supposed to start an internship in two weeks and I need to start earning money, our savings are tapped out. I realize if I don't pass, I lose my ability to work under my GN permit. I just don't know what to do, I don't have any nails left and I have absolutely driven my husband up the wall (It's only been 16 hours).

Abby-

Breathe. Slowly.

The NCLEX tortures all who take it, and all are sure they failed, when in reality 85% of first time test takers pass.

Pharm & prioritize are higher level questions, and I'm sure you did fine. Remember, nobody knows all of the drugs, expecially right out of nursing school!

Does your state participate in quick results so that you can find out in 48 hours if you passed? For yours and your husbands sake, I hope it does!

Now, stop worrying and go out for some ice cream with the hubby or watch a movie and get your mind off the NCLEX (as much as possible, anyway!). There isnt anything you can do to make time fast forward for results, so go and relax.

And, I expect you to post an " I passed!" here, very soon! :)
