thank you.

Hard question. Need to better define your idea of college and tech school.

It would be better to ask the difference between good private-run colleges, state-run colleges, and private degree farm colleges.

The first thing you need to know is if the college has accredited with the nursing board many will say they are accredited but will turn out they have some general accrediting.

Almost all state run colleges and most good private colleges are accredited in their undergrad and tech prigrams. Though usually good private college credits will not transfer to universities, whereas state run will.

Degree farm private colleges usually aren't accredited with nursing board.

Just because a school has college in its name doesn't mean their degrees are accredited with their individual accrediting boards.

So in rank order of bang for your buck goes:

State run cheapest and best choice typically.

Good private though expensive and though your credits may not tranfer to university some people find the learning experience fits them

Stay away from degree farms with who have only have broad accreditation.

The LPN license is the same. Both allow the person to work as an LPN. The LPN who obtained their education at a college gets college credit for their courses and may get the opportunity to finish the requirements for an associates degree granted by the school. The course credits at the tech school normally do not transfer and the tech school normally is not authorized to grant a recognized degree.

thank you all. I check with my Counsl. They said ....LPN and LPN is the same. But in the future if I want to be RN it will be hard for LPN in Tech school. Beside today I just figure out ....LPN in Tech school is $27,000 to 32,000. But the LPN in College is 8,000 to 12,000.

What your guys think ????...

8-12k sounds like a state run college and in my opinion is the best choice.
