Employers are interested in your nursing work experience and your nursing license being clear. They do not care where you obtained your education for the most part. Some places are being more selective in looking at grades in nursing school and possibly the nursing program because of the economic environment, but this is not to be expected everywhere. If you graduate from Excelsior, you should have no problem, depending upon your state. Some states (CA and MA) do not accept Excelsior grads for licensure and other states put forth extra requirements. One of them is to have a background in health care, usually satisfied by possessing an LPN license. Do not expect nursing courses (exams) taken at online schools to transfer to other nursing schools.
