difference btw float nurse and clinical resource nurse

Hi,

I am new in states and found out the jobs for float and clinical resource nurse. can anyone plz tell me the difference between float nurse and clinical resource nurse. I would really appreciate it.

    There is no national standard for that. Terminology varies from place to place. The only way to know exactly what each job entails is to ask about the exact job description.

    In some places, a "clinical resource nurse" might be someone who goes to a unit when they are busy to help with specific task, such as admitting new patients. But in another place, it might just be another word for "float pool nurse."
