Hi,
Is there anyone here that works at a diet clinic....specifically the Dr. Bernstein Health and Diet clinic?

Run for your life!
I worked in the same building as a Bernstein clinic. I've also chatted with several former nurses and they all say the same thing....it's an awful place to work. Turnover is through the roof. Bernstein, I've been told is a tyrant and really hard on his staff.
Now it's possible that I may have run into disgruntled workers who are badmouthing their ex-employers, but I don't believe so.
I've known people who have gone through the Bernstein diet and have been aghast at what they were forced to survive on. They live on 900 calories a day. They are given B12 & B6 injections several times a wee to keep their energy up. If they don't lose the 2 to 4 lb a week, they are told off by the staff and accused of being non-compliant. If they don't lose the required amount of weight 3 weeks in a row, they are kicked out of the program. They are literally starved. I used to work with a woman who went through Bernstein's starvation 3 times. She was around 5 feet tall and started off at around 150 lbs. By the time she went back for the third time and then gained back the weight, she weighed over 250 lbs. When I saw her last she had suffered a compression fracture on her tibia. And even though her doctor wouldn't point the finger, it was obvious that her fracture was due to osteoperosis brought on by Bernstein's literally NO dairy/calcium diet. All that for about $500 a week.
I suggest that you check out the diet and make sure you agree with it before you go to work there.
