Didn't get into nursing school?!

Hello all,

I recently considered Jersey College of nursing (Jacksonville location), and everything was going great until the interview... I thought my interview went very well, but today I got the denial letter in the mail. I had my hopes up in getting accepted into this school until today. What are some pointers y'all could help me with during my next nursing school interview?

My advice is to apply to more than just 1 school. Dont put all of your eggs in one basket. Are you sure you were denied because of your interview? What are your grades and test scores like?

Simplistic I have been going to Fscj for 2 year(still have 7 prerequisites to go before apply to the rn program) and wanted to try a faster school. The rn admissions director told me it had to do with my interview. My reading was an 82 and my math was an 87. I don't really trust any other private schools, so that is why I just choose jersey college. I have another interview for jersey on May 23rd.

I think you should ask the admissions director for more specific feedback. Without having been in the room or knowing the details, I can't tell you what you should do differently.

Perhaps try reading some professional interview tips and sample interview questions/answers. (There's dozens of sites if you google the topic). Compare what you find there to how you feel you looked, acted, and responded during your interview.
