I am trying my hardest to get into nursing school. I most recently applied to a program that requires you to take the TEAS V, but they only allow you to take it once per calendar year. Last year when I applied I hardly studied and got a composite score of 77 on reading and math. I didn't get in, but was fifteenth on their reserve list. This year I couldn't have been more prepared for the exam. I studied for over a month, made flashcards of all of the terms, read each section over and over, and went over everything I needed improvement on. I scored a 71 composite score in math and reading this time. I am beyond confused. I took my time and I thought that I did way better than last year only to be let down. I have taken two additional classes to add to my score and I received A's in both. I feel like I am never going to get into nursing school at this point. It is my dream and I will NEVER give up but I just do not know what to do at this point. Advice and feedback is greatly appreciated!!!

What materials are you using to study? Are you using the materials provided by ATI? Are you doing the online assessments and reviewing the questions you got wrong and going back to understand the material that you didn't get correct?
Yes I have the study manual from ATI. I have done the practice exams and all of the practice questions.

Have you looked into apply to other schools in your area? I know using the Teas V booklet should help and ati allows you to purchase to practice Teas Test for like $46 (something like that) I plan on taking it this november and im nervous; my school only allows you to take it twice then you have to wait five years to take it again. YIKES! But ill also be applying to two other schools as well
