I just graduated from Benedictine University in 2006, with a BS in Health Science and just got accepted to an accelerated ASN program here at home (I'm from Louisiana). Its a small, Catholic school, that takes pride in being very diverse in its student population. All nursing students stay at Benedictine for 2 years and move onto Rush to finish their BSN. I was alwasy in class with nursing students, and they are some of the brightest students in the class usually. They were in my Anatomy, Physio, Microbiology, and Psych classes. I've never heard of any complaints from them. They usually really enjoy the education they receive and usually leave in exactly 2 years to go on to Rush. You should contact a Ms.Alice Sima, BSN at the college and speak to her. I went to her for all my info when I was thinking of switching my major. She's real nice and helpful. Good Luck.
