I had the same idea, although I am not sure if they will reinburse you if you do not work less than a year. Since you are still in the process of taking Pre-reqs try to work now so that you can save. I am just finishing up my Pre-reqs and worked my tush off for 11 months, to offset living and school expenses. Look into your area hospitals, but I'm sure they require a year before you will be reinbursed.
I have a friend who did this - partial reimbursement was also available for part-time workers. She worked at Crouse in Syracuse. Look at a hospital's employment benefits section to see what tuition benefits they offer to part-time and full-time employers and after what time period you'd be eligible.
You found one! i work as a U.S -- its great because you get used to reading the chicken scratch doctors call penmanship
you get familiar with the diagnoses - the diets, the lab work -- it all comes together for you and makes nursing school SLIGHTLY easier ..gives you an edge
I have reimbursement, but stay on top of management
One year they lost it
the second semester they signed it a month after it was due (sitting on their desk)
lets see what happens this semester

I'm wondering if NYC hospitals pay for tuition reimbursement for nursing school if you work at the hospital as a unit secretary or administrative assistant.
Please also list the name of the hospital.
I'm currently taking pre-reqs right not and am trying to find a way to graduate from Nursing School with little to no debt from it if possible...
