Did anyone else get in to NGCSU/Gainesville

I just got accepted to NGCSU and wondered if anyone else will be joining me in Fall 2005?

Hi, there.

Like I said in another post, I got accepted to NGCSU in Alpharetta/Cumming, and now I'm getting pretty excited about it. (Alpharetta is sounding better and better...even if it IS over an hour's drive away...lol!) I wonder if the two campuses are similar (Alpharetta/Gainesville)? Eagle Girl was very sweet to pm me and let me know a little of what to expect. Are you in school, now? If so, where? I also mentioned that Hubbie and I are considering moving to Cumming -- we drove up on Sunday and looked around Hwy. 9. Very pretty area!!! I love the rolling hills -- horse country! I didn't really have my bearings straight, but I did like Forsyth very much. We got kinda' turned around -- even with a map. (ha, ha!) Oh well. Maybe a few more day trips and we'll have a better idea of where we are...

I, too, would also like to meet some other fellow NGCSU nursing students -- so all of you girls/guys speak up and let us know what we're in for, next year! :) We need "the real scoop" on NGCSU! :p

I am in school now - GPC Dunwoody campus. Finishing up Micro, Art Appreciation and World Civilization this semester. I'll have all my core classes for my BSN after I take a Literature, which I plan on taking next summer. I"m taking this summer off to get ready for Nursing Classes. I didn't know they were going to have an Alpharetta/Cumming campus, but Gainesville is only 12 miles from my house.

It is very exciting - hopefully, we'll hear from more people soon!

Are you planning on bridging after NGCSU? If so, do you have any idea where? (I know that's way off...are you going to continue on at NGCSU in Dahlonega for your BSN?).

Yeah, I didn't know about the Alpharetta/Cumming campus, either. I applied for the Windy Hill/Wellstar campus -- but apparently, that's closing. SURPRISE! :chuckle

Oh well. I guess that's why it's really important to be flexible in Life. You never really know where it might take you! :)
