Please, if you got accepted with GPA 3.5.... which school? Thanks

Yes, I got into two schools w/ less than 3.5. One in Pittburgh and TWU. I did go to a big name school so that may have helped and I had decent GRE. If your experience is good that also helps and get the CCRN.

Specializes in CCU, CVR.

CCRN definitely helps your chances. That shows them that you are the real deal and don't just talk big game. I got in with a 3.48 GPA and 1030 on GRE.

Specializes in SRNA class of 2010.

I did. Keep in mind you cant bake a cake with one ingredient. There are many things that get looked at. If you are weak in certain areas make sure you have ammunition from other areas to use to your advantage. I dont think CCRN will make or break you. however, good way to look at it is if you're CCRN certified it is better than someone who applies and is not certified. It is a check in the plus column.
