Hello All,

I am trying to get things together to become an independent contractor. I am having some trouble; the trouble is that I think that Im getting "bogged down" with the details that I can't really get started the way that I want too. I want make the proper steps at the "right" time. I have acquired the business license application and Im in the process of applying to become a medicaid provider in Georgia. Its kind of confusing (medicaid app) due to some parts of the app apply to LPN'S but the majority of it doesn't. I know that I don't want to be soley dependent on medicaid for my clients or my income. I want the majority of my business to be private pay clients. Im going to go to the SBA to see a SCORE counselor on Tuesday when Im off again from work. All I know for sure is that Im tired of working hard for 80hrs only to have a take home pay of 11-1200 q2wks and not having it cover my biwkly/monthly expenses let alone allow me to just have the ability to enjoy myself since I've worked so hard (a new pair of shoes, an outfit..). Im not afraid of working ridiculously hard on getting this business off the ground let alone running it day to day to be successful and grow. What I need is help with is direction (ie. What should I be doing first, second,....).

Someone please help me!
