Same sentiments with you Dylan21. My plan is to attend trainings/volunteers to gain confidence in performing basic skills. Afterwards, I'll try my luck applying in provincial hospitals, as it is easier to get hired as staff nurse.Good luck to us!
I agree. I think it is really easier to get hired as a staff nurse in provincial hospitals. After I graduated nursing I worked in a BPO company for a year then I got bored. I really want o pursue our profession. I resigned and applied as a Volunteer Nurse in Bulacan. Luckily after hard work and dedication I got hired. Prayers, hard work, dedication and positive thoughts were the keys.:)
In our current batch as RN res at VLuna, we have a colleague who's a year older than you. So i think age isnt a hindrance for you to be able to practice nursing again. Goodluck! :)
i definitely agree;)..if you really want to pursue nursing, then just do it.i suggest you pass your resume at san juan de dios(pasay city).i really appreciate how they choose their trainees fairly(no backer system whatsoever, unlike in government hospitals...)
