I'm just curious as to what a day is like in the nursing world in a hospital or wherever you work at
Tell me the time you clock in, to clocking out
How many patients do you get?
How many days a week do you work? What's your shift?
What unit do you work in?
What kind of nurse are you?
How long can you have breaks for?
Just in detail about what you do with a patient, paperwork. You don't have to go in super details.
If you don't remember a medication, does the computer you're documenting on have things you can search the medications for? For example if you don't know the nursing considerations for a medication, is there something that tells you on the patients orders for that?
When there are orders for patients, do they say what side effects to watch for, what the medication is for, what it does, the normal dose range, nursing considerations, etc? I know you have to know this stuff, but is that information there in the orders regardless if you know them or not about the medications?
What do you like/dislike about your job?
