DeSales University Accelerated BSN '14-'15

Hey everyone!

I just received my acceptance letter to DeSales to start next May '14! I figured I'd start this topic to see who else has been accepted. Right now I'm living in Boston but I grew up in the Allentown area and will be obviously moving back in the next few months for the program!

Are those areas serviced by Regional Rail. My husband works in downtown Philaddelphia, so Im looking for the best option for him and I.

oh ok. I'm not too familiar with the Regional Rail. If you are looking to be in-between Philly and Center Valley then maybe around the Lansdale area would work for you.

AMoore65, I don't know much about the Regional Rail, and I'm not sure if this map will help you, but I'll post the link anyway:

Based off of that, I'd agree with AndreaMarie that Lansdale/Colmar would work for you.

Hey! Yes, I'm getting very excited!! I'm happy to hear that we have a "Meet and Greet" session coming up next month! Can't wait to meet everyone. I'm just finishing up my chem pre-req this semester. I'm also almost done with the checklist we received. I did my physical, drug test, etc. I just need to get my CPR re-cert, which I will get next week.

Do you have facebook? I'm wondering if we could start a fb group or something and that might be a good way to communicate with everyone?

I can't believe how fast time has been going. I'm also excited for the upcoming Meet and Greet! I've also been working through the recent checklist. I've still got to CLEP out of a pre-req (Lifespan Psych) so I've been studying for that. I do have Facebook, mine is facebook.com / amandaleeee (without the spaces).

HI!! I'm starting in this cohort of students as well. I'm pretty excited but also nervous, I hear it is pretty tough. I was trying to find people on facebook but couldn't. I also couldn't find the group. Has anyone else received any information? The last thing I received was all of the clearances and paperwork.
