DeSales University ABSN 2019-2020

Hello good folks,

Starting this thread for those applying to and attending DSU's ABSN program starting in May of 2019. I just interviewed yesterday, waiting on the decision. Anyone else?

Hi guys! Went to my interview in October and she actually told me the decision at the end of my interview! It was so exciting, the Nursing tour was so nice too it all looks so realistic! I'm a 23 year old female moving from CT (received my bachelors from UConn in May 2017) and will definitely be looking for a roommate or two or three in either Allentown, Bethlehem, or anywhere around the center valley area! Can't wait to meet everyone, just sent in my deposit and have to do the background check now!

Still have yet to receive anything saying my deposit was received but was sent a happy thanksgiving card from the ABSN desales program today

I emailed to ask if my deposit was received. They said it had been, as in past tense, so I'd think they aren't exactly alerting anyone to say it was received. Reach out! Or just wait til you notice $500 taken on your bank statement :roflmao:

Yup! They answered my email and actually sent me a lunchbox in the mail saying thanks for your deposit and welcome! Thank god, i was worried they didn't get the check! I now am in the process of doing all that castle branch fingerprinting before December 15th!

Hello Everyone!!

I came across this thread and thought I would add to it.

First off, CONGRATS to everyone that has been accepted! I am so excited to start the program and to meet all of you! I am currently in the process of completing the background check / fingerprints.

Quick info about me, I'm a 23 year old female. I have a B.S. in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg University. I am from New Jersey, and I most likely will be moving to Bethlehem or one of the neighboring towns.

I'm in the process of doing the fingerprinting too! I was just wondering what happens if it's not all completed by the 15th because I am from Connecticut and they're taking forever! Also nice to meet you I'm a 23 year old moving to the Bethlehem area too! Can't wait to meet everyone! We should have a Facebook group or something like that so everyone can prepare for the program together !

Hi everyone!
Excited to have found this page and hear that you're all just as eager as I am with the program. A few questions... I'm also looking at housing and moving from Cleveland, Ohio and would be interested in roommates if possible! If not, has anyone heard anything about the graduate housing they offer? Thanks in advance!

Hey ladies!

I'm from the current cohort at DeSales, and my apt complex has openings for may, I live in Bethlehem, I'm about 10 mins from the school, if you guys have any interest in housing here, or just any questions about the program, let me know!!

I highly recommend making a Facebook group! I'm from cohort 14 and that was super helpful before we started the program
