Hello there, I just wanted to reach out and see if any of you were applying for January 2016 admissions. I'm a little nervous as my CNA course wont be complete till they're conducting interviews, but I do have experience as a Medical first responder/Lifeguard (3years) and being a behavioral health worker and QMAP in a long term residential facility.
What are your guys' work experience??
Looking forward to hearing from you all!

Congrads on your acceptance. I have noticed that some of the Denver School of Nursing students share homes with other students. If you go on the Denver School of Nursing Facebook page that might help. I am very excited for you... I was also accepted in the January group but it looks like at this time I will not be entering the program. However I think it is a great school and turns out many amazing nurses... if you need any info on housing or anything please go ahead and ask me since I live in Denver. I am sorry to hear that!! If you don't mind me asking, did you get accept to other program?
Well I am having some scheduling issues and I am also interested possibly pursuing a radiology technology degree... so therefore I am putting off nursing school and at this time I am going to be continuing with the community college for this degree/certification... however you never know... I may apply at another time... things happen...

Hello! Im eager to meet everyone and begin school. I have been reading some reviews of DSN on the internet that are a bit discouraging but I think school will be what we make of it and I'm excited to meet all of you. I'm moving from Maine to Denver in December... Was wondering if anyone is looking for a roommate?? Feel free to find me on Facebook as well. I have been checking the DSN page but haven't seen anyone looking on there. I think it would be great to live with fellow nursing students.
I just had my interview on Wednesday, and as long as you get an interview, you are in. It was very encouraging to hear everything in person as the internet can make anyone feel discouraged - though I've decided that most people only post negative things, never positive! Has anyone that has already had their enrollment day (and hopefully met with a financial aid advisor) started the process of searching for other money to pay for what federal loans don't cover? I'm a bit worried about using private loans through a bank, though I suppose that's probably the safest option. But, I'm also worried about not only paying for tuition, but also living expenses. I've had a full time job for the last few years, and am very nervous to not have an income anymore!
