:crying2:I applied to 7 associate programs in california and have an overall GPA OF 2.67 and got denied to every program!! OMG $600 later! i'm freaking out. i'm willing to pay for private, and go anywhere in california i just want to get into an associate program now before i'm a 100 years old if anyone knows of any programs that accept you as long as you have passing grades but just charge an arm and a leg please let me know!!

I'm sorry to say but I agree that you need to bring up your GPA. I have a 3.86 in my overall and I'm sweating bullets to get into a program in California. It is very competitive here and just because a program says you have to have a 2.0 or 2.5 GPA or higher doesn't really mean anything because you will be bumped by everyone with a higher GPA unless you find a program with a waiting list and around me it is a 3 year wait.

CNA = certified nursing assistant. Many community colleges offer courses that lead to becoming a CNA. Some programs at tech schools etc even require you to be a CNA before admission to their programs.
