Hello everyone! I am creating this thread for those who have applied to the Summer 2021 residency with Ascension (Dell Children's) in Austin. I hope we can all keep each other updated through this!

does anyone have an idea on their timeline? I received something from a recruiter there the other day to attend a webex for them but it is at the end of April (seems really far away) and then she said afterwards interviews would begin. not sure if she was specifically referring to dell as I applied to other locations within ascension but thought I would ask

So I applied! I really hope this goes through, I’ve applied to almost everywhere in Houston and I’ve heard nothing! Hopefully Austin is good to me ?. How many positions did you guys apply for? Also, when I got the second email asking me to complete the assessment, I tried completing it but it said it’s already been done. I’m suspecting it’s because I’ve filled it out for other jobs? What do you guys think?

I have not heard anything back from Dell yet about the webex or assessment. From experience, if I have already completed the assessment through another hospital and that hospital uses the same assessment then it typically transfers over!

I attended the info session yesterday. I was informed they are hiring 2 new graduates for the NICU, for anyone interested in that.

I applied for both nicu and acute rehab so if you hear anything I’d like to know too!

Hey guys, for those who attended the information session. Do you know how long the residency program is and do we have to payback if we leave early? I’m just wondering cause I couldn’t find this information anywhere on the website. If you also got any number that or email that I could to ask questions, that would be great!  Thank you ?
