Delaware Technical Community College - Ranking Points

Published

Hi, Anyone out there applying to the Delaware Tech nursing program this spring or fall? or anyone currently in the nursing program already? What are/were your total points?

I am just about finished all the prerequisites and plan to apply in the fall 2017. Currently I have accumulated 10 points but I haven't taken the NLN yet. Just trying to figure out what I need to score on the NLN in order to get into the program.

Congrats everybody!!

For future people I did not get in, although I scored an 80% on my TEAS and got an A in anatomy and physiology I was out of state and will be going to my local colleges nursing program. The reason I wanted to go to deltech is because the program is shorter! Best of luck to everyone else!! Also I had 12/16 points and applied to the Georgetown campus

It really is crazy to think that it comes down to in-state tuition especially since you did well on everything else. I'm sorry to hear that but wish you luck in the other program!!

Thank you! Truly a humbling experience as someone who always gets straight As 😂😭 Good luck to you as well!

I totally get it! I was the same way and got As but really relied on that in-state. I got an 80.6 on the TEAS so my total was 14.6 with it.
either way whichever program you get into, it sounds like you'll be great! 👍

Thank you!! You as well

Hi is anyone applying to Del Tech Owen's Campus ADN program on August 15th for a January spot. I got a 71.3 % on my TEAS and got a b for BIO 120 but got an A on my math. I've done good on my other perquisites too. So far I have 12.13/16 points but I don't know if that will be enough to be into the program. I'm stressing real bad does anyone think I have enough points ??

Hello beautiful people!

I'm a pre-nursing student at the Stanton campus. I just applied today and have a couple of questions. The application seemed super short to me, it literally only asked my contact info, which program and which campus. Is that normal? Also, I've seen on here there Stanton is the most competitive, is that true? I'm surprised because it's a smaller campus. I have 13/16 points and am in state but am worried. I talked to the director about the amount of points I have. She wasn't able to tell me much, since it just depends on what everyone brings to the table 😞 Any help is really appreciated!

Hola Dear!  You are correct, Stanton is the most competitive campus. Probably because New Castle County is the most populated. I was accepted to Terry campus and will be starting in a few weeks. My score was a 13.53. Also, the application is super short because you're already a student and your previous transcripts and current grades are already in the system. For DTCC there's no essay or anything.
 Do you have a 13.0?

Best of luck to you!
