Dekalb Technical college

I know that they are only offering their LPN program in Covington now. There are pretty disorganized if you ask me. I would try Gwinnett or some where else first.

Anyone currently attending dekalb for the lpn program or any graduates that can tell me if its a good school to take the nursing course?
And are there any Atlanta tech students out there that can advise me on there program. I have enrolled into both schools and I am trying to get some advice on either.

Yeah, they sent me something in the mail that its only in covington. I am not even sure where that is, i am new to atlanta and I live in the atlanta area near the airport. Where in gwinnett do they offer the lpn program?

Gwinnett Tech. Also look into the University of West GA. They have a satelite school in Newnan County. If you are going to spend the time on an LPN, you may as well try a regular BSN. Look into GA State, Clayton, Univ. of West GA and a host of others.

If you live near the airport then try Griffin Tech wonderful staff. I started at Dekalbtech but finished at Griffin Tech. It's off of 75 south.

Thank you I am going to look into griffin. I met this girl that was on the wait list for griffin, well not actually wait list but she said that they choose you by gpa and she hadnt gotten in yet so she'd decided to take medical assistant, i dont want to go that route.

How is the drive from Lithonia to the Covington Campus? Alot of traffic? I am in NY looking to move to GA- I've been there a number of times..and so far I like Lithonia.

this should be a pretty close drive and it goes against traffic depending on the time of day.
