Deciding about CNM school

Published

Hello Everyone,

my name is Barbora and currently I'm in last year of nursing school. I want to become a CNM and am looking around for graduate school. One of them that I like is San Diego State University. But I can't find any information about how good is the CNM program there. Does anyone heard anything about this program? Is it a good choice?

Thank you

I also posted something regarding SDSU CNM/WHNP program, but alas no one responded to the post so I am wondering the same thing--i'm surprised not more people on this forum attend school here---have you found out anything on your own?

Where are you attending nursing school?

I know from their website for CNM you need one year of LD experience, however you can start the nonclinical part of the program and simultaneously get that experience and then the following year start your clinicals.

let me know if you find out anything!

Hello,

thanks for prompt reaction:) Well, I'm still madly researching all the CNM programs. Haven't heard anything about SDSU program yet. I goggled " ranking of CNM programs" and SDSU was 34th out of 35...sooo...I don't know. Currently I am in Oklahoma City in nursing program at OU. I'll let you know if I'll hear something more specific about SDSU.
