There are two opportunities for me to retake the TEAS-V before the admissions process is over. I can only pick one more time to take it, though. One is December 2nd, but I don't know if I'm completely prepared yet. The other is January 14th, but my school recommends for the test to be taken three months before the deadline for admission, which is in April. Should I take the test then since it's still allowed, or when recommended?

If you take it on December 2 and don't like your score, can you re-test in January?
The only thing I can say is my TEAS scores were emailed to me within 36 hours of taking the exam. I know it takes a few days to get them to the school, but they still make it there pretty quickly!
Have you spoken to an admissions counselor?
No, I can only test one more time, unfortunately. Our school thankfully does online testing, so we get the immediate scoring. I've tried speaking to her on multiple occasions, but somehow she ends up completely diverting my questions every time to present new ones and giving no answers :/
Hmmm. . .have you tried emailing her?
Yes, I felt it would be a way to get a more efficient answer, but no luck. I've never gotten to see her personally because she said it wasn't necessary when I asked to make an appointment with her to discuss the test..:/
Yikes! I'm sorry about that.
I'm wondering what they actually mean by three months. January is three months before April, so I'm wondering if the January 14th date is the last date for the April application deadline.
If you can't get a straight answer from the staff, have you tried talking to other students in the program? While it's not official, I'd at least be curious to hear what current nursing students have to say about your school's application process.
Me too! I mean they still offer the test to take and just say it's recommended to be taken earlier, even though the school does online testing.
And not yet, but I'll search for some and figure it out. Thanks!
