I feel I am organized and did pretty well in school.. I have turned in my deposit and hope to here what they want from me next to get books bought did you buy them on line or local book store? So many questions!! The one thing I would like to add is the Deaconess staff has been wonderful!!!!!

Hi hallie,
Congratulations!
I have been accepted to Deaconess too. I am also nervous about it but I hear it is a fine program. Feel free to pm and we will chat about it.

We are looking into Deaconess for my husband. He is 39 going back to school to be an RN. This was the only program that offered a full web-based program on a full 12 month schedule (without being an LPN prior) so he could still work his normal full-time job and go to school. Everything else he basically had to quit work to go and we couldn't do that.
We are about 35 minutes north of Kansas City. Are you guys local or are you distance? They said he could arrange his clinicals locally in KC, but we not sure how to check that out.
I hope it all works out because so far after speaking with the advisors on the phone, it sounds like it will fit our needs perfectly. I would also be interested to hear from others that are attending, however, we are going for the web program.
