DD LPN in PA

Published

Hi ! I'm starting a job in PA working with the DD (Developmentally Disabled). I'm originally from NJ, where I'm real familiar with the rules & regs of supporting clients there. But in PA, does anyone know if LPN's can replace a G tube if it falls out for those clients? (in NJ you sent the client to ER without replacing). Also, are there any "special" rules governing the special needs population in regards to "emergency care"? Does the LPN just fall back onto emergency training if need be?

I just can't locate that answer from the BON in my state !

Thanks so much, cant wait to hear if anyone has any idea!
