I am taking pre-reqs at DCCCD. I was told that the Microbiology and AP1 courses have a pre-req of Biology 1406. When I called TWU, they said they have never seen anyone with that course on their transcript before and asked that I check with the school. I confirmed it. Is it just me?

i was told the same thing. i am now in bio 1406 and will be in micro in the spring. they won't approve your enrollment in either micro or a&p without that pre-req.

I took the SCIT 1407 for A&P1 and I never took the BIOL 1406. You only need to take BIOL 1406 if you want to take the A&P 1 that transfers to universities which is BIOL 2401.
For Micro you either have to have the BIOL 1406 OR SCIT 1407 (A&P1) done.
Most nursing students want to take the BIOL 2401 (A&P1) because it transfers to universities BUT UTA does accept SCIT 1407 as well :) I don't think any other university here in Dallas accepts it though.

...Baylor's nursing program accepts SCIT 1407 and 1408 as well.
