Dccc Net

Hi everyone,

I am wondering if DCCC is holding NET testing anymore for 2007-2008. I already have a bachelor's degree in education and I recently started looking into nursing as a career change, so I missed the October cut off date for the fall 2008 program. I know they continue to accept applications, but that they won't be priority. Also, does anyone know what new grads from the diploma program make per hour at Chester County Hospital? I know at Brandywine, new grads make $23/hour to start. I am looking into DCCC's diploma program as well as Brandywine's. I'm going to an info. session about DCCC's program in the beginning of December. Does anyone have an opinion on which program is better? Any other info. on either of the programs would be appreciated!! Thanks in advance! :)

I am a senior at Brandywine. This is my 2nd career too. It has been a long 3 yr adventure which will be done in May. I like the program, it is hard but the clinicals are close so is the school and with 2 young kids it made it easy for me to choose which school to attend. I know DCCC is hard to get into and they only take the top NET grades. I am not sure if Brandywine fall 2008 is full or not. The main thing is no matter what school you go to the goal is to pass the NCLEX.

Good Luck
