Daytona state RN program fall 2019

Just applied today, anyone else applying for fall 2019 adn rn program at Daytona state college? I’m hoping to go to Deland or Deltona campus. 3.7 gpa, all pre reqs done and an 84 teas. Fingers crossed.

I called yesterday, we should have letters by the 4th

Waiting is the hardest part, I'm ready to start!! Is there anyone else that applied for the transition program?

I saw that in the past a lot of people received letters the last week of June so I’m hoping next week ?

I spoke with someone from the school and was told Orientation is 8/5( not sure of the time) and jumpstart is on 8/9 8:30 - 12:30. Both in Daytona

A review of pharmacology, calculations, and some other stuff. I was advised that this is highly recommended.

Thats good to know. Do you know if its true our first semester is partially online?

Yes, that's true. 2 lectures ( maternity and transition into professional nursing) are both online. Lab is either Tuesday from 1400- 1650 with Clinical on Wednesday from 1300- 2250 or lab on Tuesday from 1800- 2050 with Clinical on Thursday from 1300-2250. Everything is in Daytona including Clinicals.
