Hey all! I'm applying in May for an August start date to Daytona State College's nursing program. Anyone else?

After graduating from the LPN program in August, how long does it take to have everything done to apply for the LPN RN bridge? And how many semesters is the bridge program?

You have to have a years experience in the field and the program is 3 semesters from acceptance til graduating

Does tht include the pre req or i would need another semester to do those?

You have to have the pre refs done before admin. The college says they look at that first and u have a better overall look if u have them done. They r A&P I&II, all the English classes and speech, college algebra or survey of mathematics, humanities, and microbiology. These classes will prob take u 2 semesters.

I took my LPN at another college and they were transferred but were not good towards any of the pre reqs. They were just basically elective coursework that I took. Definitely takes your GPA down. 😞😤

Did anyone apply for scholarships for fall semester and got a response as yet?

Haven't heard anything yet. Everything seems to be moving really slow this year

I heard they had a system issue and extended the deadline 3 days for scholarships so that put them back a little.
