I worked for Davita for six months and that was all I could take. They are not very friendly to staff all they care about is making money and not patient care. I work for another Dialysis company now that yes they are out to make money but they care about the staff and patients.

A company can be profit-oriented and obligated to their stockholders, as is Davita and other healthcare and dialysis companies. However, let us all keep in mind that one can make a profit and continue to stress the importance of providing quality safe care. I do not buy-into the fact that a company that is focused on profit can not provide quality safe care. I have seen both good and bad in all facility providers, Davita, FMC, Satellite, etc. All one has to do is take a look at a facility survey to get an idea of that which truly happens. RenalRuth:saint:
