Hi! Thanks so much for making this thread. I originally commented on the 2020 thread because you have to have so many posts before you can even create anything or send messages! Here's to hoping we find out something very soon ?

My friends that have applied to different programs received their letters and I’m just sitting here waiting and waiting ?

I just received an email that I have been chosen as an alternate. I am so upset. I have been trying to get into this school for 3 years because it is the only one that always home health as experience.

Don’t be upset...alternate is great. At least you know you will get in. So many life changes happen where people have to decline acceptance and with this pandemic I’m pretty sure your alternate status will change to being in the program. If you don’t mind me asking how many points did you have with your application? And what did you score on your TEAS test?

I think it was 24 or 25 points and TEAS was 74 or 75

Just found out I was accepted today. I’ve been trying to get my RN the last 7yrs..I’ve been an LPN 21yrs. Feels surreal and I’m scared to death as well. Anyone completed the program? Can you work FT during this?? I work HH so I may go PRN but will wait to see. Good luck to everyone!

Congratulations. There is another thread from last year and the nurses are currently in the program they can give you more insight.

Question:

I am trying to apply for 2022 and I am an LPN since 2019. I was wondering what is a good points range to be in. And what's the average TEAS test score I should get?

The available is 36 points for Fall 2022.  What Is a score for points that is good for acceptance out of the 36?

Also, for the TEAS score what was the lowest TEAS score they took last Fall?

Does this school accept black people? Everyone  I have spoken with that is black that’s applied to this program with scores in the 80s 70s said they were not accepted.
80s is pretty good for TEAS. One person did say she know of a friend of hers that was accepted but the friend was the only black person in the program. It seems a little suspect. So I just stop applying to that school. I’m over qualified and still no acceptance.

So how did you do?  How was the program?  I also have been a nurse for a long time and have applied and I need to work as well. How did you handle that?
