Davidson Community College ADN, LPN, LPN to RN

Hey. I wanted to create a thread for anyone that has applied to Davidson for the nursing programs starting fall 2019. We can wait, talk and keep up with one another when they send out acceptance letters. Also feel free to post TEAS scores as we wait.

What was your score? I made a 87.2 but looking at some other post that still may not be good enough. I think they accept their alumni first. I live 2 hours away so I hope this works out.

I only knew they would accept my transcripts a week before the deadline. So I didn't study but 2 days and only made a 78 :( so I am pretty sure i'm not getting in. I live 2 hours away as well. I honestly thought my humanities was a no go and had convinced myself I had a year to study. So if I don't I know what to do for next year.

I think it’s still a chance. Let’s hope they don’t have many applicants so we both can get it. I may not make it either but I can say I tried.

Hey! So, I heard that acceptance emails were sent out yesterday... ☹ I'm currently taking prerequisites there.

Wow. Well I guess that means we are out of luck. I thought they said they were going out on the 15th. I applied for the RN to Lpn. Who said they received there’s already? And we are talking about the Davidson in Davie County?

With your TEAS being that high, I'm thinking maybe the e-mails were for the LPN program maybe? Not supposed to go out for another 9 days. Called the college Monday with a question RE: the program and no one called me back so maybe that's why ?

I asked another girl and she did say it wasn’t for LPN to ADN. Did you get your question answered?

Oh wow, okay well that’s kinda sorta a relief. No, I called Saturday after business hours, Monday, and today. Hopefully tomorrow, the lady that put the call request in said someone directly from the program should be contacting me. Fingers crossed ??

Hi I also applied for the lpn to rn program and am waiting to hear back.My teas score was 85.3%. Has anyone received an acceptance letter?
