Hi, I've applied to Darton State for Fall 2013 and I just took my TEAS this week. My GPA is a 3.3 and I scored a 77 overall. I'm just looking to meet others who have applied for Fall 2013 because I'm super excited!!! And also looking for tips from previous students.

Hi! I have applied for Sandersville Bridge program. I take my TEAS next week. Any tips?
Mine had a lot of simple addition/subtraction, a lot of grammar/sentence structure and dimensions like measuring area/perimeter etc and some A&P. Not much fractions or earth science like I was told. But the practice tests were harder than the real thing IMO. Hope that helps!

Did you take the TEAS for the bridge program in Sandersville last week?
I took my test days and my overall was 72.7 and I passed all four parts.
I take my TEAS tomorrow for the bridge program. So nervous... What is your overall GPA? Did it say how you scored vs other students at Darton?
@ All4MyBabies...Thanks for the tips.
@Ella. I have a 3.45 GPA and have all my core completed. She told us we had to have at least a 57.7 to even be considered. It you fail one section you can still be considered if you do really well on the others. If you fail more than one you will not be considered. My paper said program average was a 65.5 and I had a 72.7. The Ready, Math and Grammar were fairly easy but the Science was hard. I had only a few Anatomy questions and lots of Chemistry, Life and Earth Science, and Scientific Reasoning.
@Chastity. I took my TEAS today. I made an 80% overall. They told our group the same things about failing a section. I did really well in reading, science, and english. I only made a 66.7% in Math so that worries me. My paper says that the mean has now fallen to 64.9% for Darton and 64.3% for National. My percentile rank was 89. My GPA is 3.3 with all core completed.
I just hope that I get in! She said they had 186 or so applicants and they take around 70.
Where are you from?
@Ella...You did really well. I have talked to several people and all their scores were in the 60's. I live in Vidalia. Where do you live?
What was your Science like?
In Vidalia. I thought that I recognized your name but I can't picture your face. My name is actually Susan Wheeler. I used my daughter's name as my ID on here. Where do you work? I am the practice manager for Vidalia ENT. If we both get in then maybe we can carpool or something. I just hate we have to wait a month to find out! I am such a worrier so this will bother me for a month : )
