Pay will depend on where she works really. Inpatient she will be in the upper 20s per hour.
Houston is more humid and has fantastic restaurants. Dallas is hot, a little bit more dry and has a small chance of having some sort of Winter. Both have museums, cultural events, diversity and some of the world's worst traffic. Neither has an income tax, both have fair housing prices. Houston is near Galveston where you can hit the beach or jump on a cruise ship, if those days ever return. Dallas is flat as the eye can see and very metropolitan, borderline snobby.
I would say if she isn't attached to one or the other, to see where she gets job nibbles.
