Dallas Methodist July 2018 Residency

Hi everyone! Noticed there was not a thread for the Dallas Methodist Summer 2018 cohort and wanted to start since all positions were taken up this last week. I applied to both ED in Dallas and Oncology and still have not heard anything. Let's keep each other updated!

What unit is your 2nd interview for? I received a voicemail for a 2nd interview and when I tried calling back to schedule she didn't answer so I left a voicemail and she hasn't called me back yet

I hope you get a call back soon. Sometimes it's hard when you have missed connections but hopefully you get your interview scheduled soon.

Did anyone else interview for Cardiology?

I interviewed with nephrology/transplant. I received reference email the day after the interview and haven't heard back since then. I called Kay yesterday and she said all the managers are still working through it but we should hear from them by the end of this week. Good luck to everyone!

I did my rotations at Methodist this semester at CCU and really enjoyed their sincere concept of nurses helping nurses, I also love that they are a teaching hospital. I've never been on the med-surg floor but other classmates have and they say the same thing. I had my second interview yesterday and really hope I'll get to join their residency program in July. Best of luck to everyone else!!

Did you schedule your 2nd interview with Stacy? She still hasn't called me back and I left a voicemail and I've called her several times so I'm kind of stressing out lol
